Ensembles

We supplement the classroom band programs in a variety of ways from funding the purchase of music and instruments, to repairs and professional development costs for the staff. In addition, we fund a series of professional clinicians each year that work with students to expand their knowledge. The boosters also manage logistics for activities related to the classroom bands such as the All County, All District and All State band programs, UNC Jazz Program, the Honors Band program at UNC-G and the Music Performance Assessment/Festival.  

We use the "Fair Share" program to cover these costs and encourage the families to participate in a range of activities that will offset the students share of these costs.  Many students fully cover their fair share of classroom costs from fundraising.

The Fair Share for each classroom band member for 2019-20 year is $80.
