Our color guard is a key element of our Marching Band. The guard provides important components of our visual presentation and overall effect during our show. A band has to have great music, marching, and visual effect to be a consistent winner.

Guard is one of two sections of the band, the other is percussion, that hold additional "sectionals" each week to learn routines and develop individual skills to allow them to integrate into the full band during marching band practice. They have a dedicated instructor during camp and develop their choreography to convey the themes of the show while integrating with instrumentalists that are playing and marching with them.

Our guard members also may choose to participate in a Winterguard programs after the marching season has ended that develops and competes indoors in the early spring.
