Fundraising Activities 

In keeping with our mission, our fundraising activities are focused on supporting the needs of all students in our classroom bands, jazz ensembles and marching band program.  We have both general fund activities, which fund common needs like new instruments and technology, as well as Fair Share activities that offset the per student operational costs of instruction/clinicians, music, repairs, uniform cleaning, transportation, concerts and other logistical costs for the bands. 

• Classroom fair share includes Jazz Combos and Big Band classes as well, if a student is in multiple classes you only pay a single fee.  
• Classroom fair share is due by the last Monday in February each year, and does not carry over from year to year.

Many of our families offset 30-40% of the Fair Share cost by participating in the following Fair Share Fundraisers: 

• Grocery Card Credits (year round) 
• Gift Card Credits (year round) 
• GoPlaySave Books (fall)
• Concession Stand (fall, spring, summer)  

The Band Boosters organize the following General Fundraisers for needs like new instruments: 

• Extra Band Apparel 
• Car Magnets and Backpacks 
• Amazon Smile

We actively seek grants to support long term needs. We are grateful for the recent grant support provide by the Lyon Foundation, Enloe PTSA, and several major local employers that have gone to buy new instruments and equipment. Matching Grants: If your company offers a matching grant program (IBM, Cisco, Glaxo, Honeywell, and many others) please contact our treasurer for any information needed to participate in these programs to help our band.
