Enloe Band News

Ready to be Amazed?  Here are details for the DCI Trip Sunday 7/29.

  SUNDAY JULY 29, 2012

6:45AM          Building opens

7:00                 Load buses

7:15                 Depart Enloe

11:00               Arrive Carowinds

Have fun…in groups of 3 or more.

5:00PM           Meet at gate (where we entered)

5:15                 Depart Carowinds

5:45                 Arrive DCI Nightbeat. Enjoy awesome corps performances!

10:30               Leave bleachers as a group.  No restroom break yet.

10:45               Load buses

11:00               Depart Nightbeat

11:30               Rest area (10 minutes)

2:15AM (Monday)       Call home and wake your parents when we’re 30-45 minutes out.

3:00AM (Monday)       Arrive Enloe

Arrive Sunday with some breakfast in your tummies.  We wouldn't want to meet an hour earlier just to accommodate a breakfast stop on the road.  Also, bring enough food money for the day.  We'll eat lunch at Carowind's and dinner at the DCI show.  At Carowind's you can actually find something "healthy" to eat (if you choose to), but at the DCI show we'll be limited to concession type "food."

It's a long day/night for all involved but it's so much fun.  And the newest members are going to make new friends!

Our Mission:

The Enloe Band Program prides itself on maintaining balance and excellence in its musical offerings.

To that end students have opportunities to participate in Concert Band, Marching Band, and Jazz Combos.

Additionally, students have opportunities to learn about arranging, music technology, and conducting.
