September 28 – Panther Creek Invitational at Panther Creek - switched to Cleveland HS

October 12 – Bands of America (BOA) Regional in Conway, SC

October 19 – Bands of America (BOA) Regional in Johnson City, TN

October 26 – Capital City Expo at Sanderson HS

November 2 – Cary Band Day at Cary High School

  • Students should arrive at Enloe at 8:30am for the following local competitions:
  • October 12-13 - BOA Regional – Conway, SC:
  • Schedule
    • October 12 - Students should arrive at 7:00 AM at Enloe to load buses. Depart
      for Conway by 7:30 AM – compete that afternoon/evening. Stay overnight on Saturday.
    • October 13 – Students in Myrtle Beach – arrive Enloe late afternoon/early
      evening.

    • Hotel: Best Western Plus, 9551 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572
    • The venue is cashless; plan accordingly.
    • The competition venue has a clear bag policy; students (and families) will need them to bring into the venue when not performing.
  • Packing/Planning Details
    • Ask your student if they received a packing list and be sure they check it when they pack!
    • Students should eat a good breakfast before you come or bring it on the bus; it's going to be a while until lunch!
    • Due to logistical concerns, students will need to pack a healthy lunch to eat on the bus for Saturday's trip to Conway. We will have bottled water for them. Please avoid junk food and sodas so they will be best prepared for a great performance!
    • We are not providing Gatorade; if your student wants a sport drink, have them bring it in their lunch on Saturday.
    • Saturday dinner is at the competition and venue is cashless; bring a credit card, a prepaid gift card, or phone app (and a charger!) for payment.
    • Students will need money for dinner on Saturday, lunch and activities on Sunday. A ticket to WonderWorks will be included for Sunday morning's visit to Broadway at the Beach.
  • October 18-20 – BOA Regional – Johnson City, TN:
  • Schedule:
    • October 18 – Students will have one final rehearsal immediately after school; depart Enloe 6 PM. Arrive in Johnson City late evening.
    • October 19 – Compete and return home after competition (leave around
      11pm).
    • October 20 – Return to Enloe early 6:30 - 7 am.

    • The venue is cashless; plan accordingly.
    • The competition venue has a clear bag policy; students (and families) will need them to bring into the venue when not performing.
  • Packing/Planning Details 
    • Your student should receive their packing list via Slack (very similar to Conway's list).
    • Note: It will be cold at times this weekend! Temperatures are going to range from the high 30's to the low 70's! Be prepared with warm clothes.
    • Students will bring their luggage to school Friday morning.
    • Students will practice immediately after school Friday and leave by 6 PM, with a dinner stop at the food court at Streets of Southpoint in Durham.
    • Students need to be wearing their green band shirts and black jackets by departure time Friday evening.
    • Meals provided by EMB: lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday (hotel breakfast Saturday).
    • Students will need money for dinner on Friday at the food court at Streets of Southpoint, as well as money for merchandise, additional concessions, etc. The BOA venue is cashlesss.
    • The competition venue has a clear bag policy; students (and families) will need them to bring into the venue when not performing.
