Enloe Magnet High School is fortunate to offer a robust classroom band program that includes six curricular band classes - concert band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, combo jazz, jazz band, and jazz ambassadors, The school provides the following for Enloe's classroom bands: band director salary, chairs and stands, program start-up instruments, $1000 per year for instrument repairs, and $414 for instructional supplies. The actual cost of running the classroom band program is much higher and includes: instrument repair and replacement; purchasing of new instruments (tubas, French horns, baritone saxophones, euphoniums, bassoons, oboes, bass clarinets, and concert percussion), purchasing music, and guest instructors/clinicians stipends. In order to cover these costs, the Enloe Band Boosters are requesting a fair share donation to help cover the operational costs of running all classroom band programs. Each family is asked to consider contributing $100 per student, regardless of the number of band classes in which each student is enrolled.
